Depot District Should Consider Other Options before Beach

The city of Inverness not only revived the idea for a beach on Lake Henderson, but also the city council has approved pursuing it at Wallace Brooks Park rather than Liberty Park. The next step is to send a letter to the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD; colloquially pronounced “swift mud” for short) to inform the state regulators of the move.
